

When GG Trading needed a premium brand film to explain their role in the global fertilizer market, the challenge was clear: take a technical subject and bring it to life, without relying on live-action footage or dense corporate language. The solution? A highly crafted animation that used metaphor, motion, and sound to create something far more engaging.
I was brought in to lead the creative development and execution of the animation, from reshaping the initial script and storyboard, to illustration, animation, and final delivery. Using GG’s minimal brand toolkit as a base (mainly blue-and-white icons), I developed a refined visual system that expanded their design language while staying true to its essence.
The animation hinged on visual metaphor and transformation. Objects fluidly evolved from one form to the next, a tractor became a race car; a calendar folded into a laptop, which collapsed into a box, then a lorry, then a ship, then a scooter. These sequences gave the piece energy and coherence, while rewarding repeat viewings with subtle details and smart transitions.
