McDonald’s wanted to inject some visual fun into their in-store tablet experience—adding movement, warmth, and a bit of brand magic to their digital touchpoints. I created a set of playful vector animations designed for tablets and digital signage, using illustrations of some of McDonald’s most iconic items.
The animations weren’t just decorative—they helped orient users by connecting key menu items (like fries, burgers and sundaes) to the tablet’s key functions: shopping, games, chat, news, and the story behind McDonald’s itself. It was about turning a simple interface into something more intuitive and delightful—especially for younger visitors.
The style was clean, characterful, and unmistakably McDonald's: bright colours, smooth motion, and just enough personality to make it smile-worthy.
